Building on the proven success of Wahoo’s line of KICKR Smart Trainers, the new 2018 edition delivers a virtually silent experience and a specially engineered, heavier flywheel to provide cyclists with the exact inertia they need to recreate the feeling of riding outdoors. The KICKR continues to provide the best in class indoor smart trainer design with carbon steel body for the durability. Its unmatched compatibility expands to include: new indoor grade simulator, the Wahoo KICKR CLIMB, and the new Bluetooth and ANT+ powered fan, the KICKR HEADWIND. The KICKR includes an 11 speed cassette for easy setup, adapters to fit most bike frames (disc or rim brake) and an RPM cadence sensor.
When the skies open and conspire to spit on a solid day of training, you can sit back and smile—because you're prepared with Wahoo's KICKR SNAP Bike Trainer. It was tucked tidily away in the closet with the clean sheets, just waiting for you. The SNAP keeps you in tune with ANT+ and BLE capabilities so you'll be dialed into smartphones and GPS devices simultaneously or separately. When you're cranking out the watts, the SNAP's super-stable carbon steel frame will not be moved. Your power is clocked at +/- 5% accuracy, so you'd better be sweating if you want those bragging rights. With a road feel this realistic, and access to more third party apps than any other trainer, you might even forget the great outdoors tried to soak you.
The KICKR HEADWIND is the first ever smart fan, designed with the cyclist in mind. The KICKR HEADWIND is sensor controlled so as your speed or heart rate increases, so will the fan speed, and there are also 4 manual speed settings should you want to set your own ideal airflow. With speeds of over 30 mph (48 kph), the KICKR HEADWIND will keep you cool during the toughest training sessions.
